Premium Wig Brand「LUCY LEE」Completed Millions Dollars Series A Financing

The premium wig brand LUCY LEE completed tens of millions of dollars in Series A financing, led by Vertex Holdings. The brand will use this financing round for supply chain building, brand and team building, and overseas business development. Within just a year, LUCY LEE has completed three rounds of financing since it launched. Investors for the first two rounds are Panda VC Fund, Shunwei Capital and Gaorong VC.


Established in Beijing in 2020, LUCY LEE focuses on hair accessories such as wigs and jewellery. Its hero products include hair extensions with highlights, wavy hairpieces, etc. Key product features are from Japan Kaneka Corporation high-temperature silk, which costs 5/6 times more than domestic fibre hair. The products can provide tolerant high-temperature modelling of up to 180 degrees.




Beauty Retailer 「HAYDON黑洞」Completed US$100 million Financing, With US$1 Billion A Post-investment Valuation

The high-end beauty retail brand HAYDON Black Hole completed a US$100 million A+ round of financing in early August this year. The capital is a leading domestic investment institution, and its post-investment valuation reached US$1 billion.


HAYDON was established in November 2020, focusing on the offline beauty retail space of "art + technology + experience". On 31st December 2020, the world's first HAYDON store opened in Wuhan. The store has a collection of the worlds big-name skincare products, European and American professional cosmetics, and niche lifestyle products, with a total of more than 200 brands & over 2,000 SKUs.


Currently, HAYDON has opened 4 stores in Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In 2021, it aims to launch 20 new stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing and other cities.

Meat-oriented cat food GAOYEJIA completed an RMB¥50 million round of financing, led by Jinding Capital, followed by Evershine Capital. The brand will mainly use the investment for new product research and development, channel expansion and factory construction.


Established in 2018, GAOYEJIA mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of cat food. Its products are primarily focused on probiotics, and it is the first domestic brand to make probiotic food within the cat food category. The core concept of Gaoyejia's products is "safety, transparency and health".



Plant Based Meat Curator STARFIELD NPD「星期零蛋白棒Protein Bar」Launched On Family Mart & Tmall Flagship Stores

STARFIELD official announced the launch of a new product, "STARFIELD Protein Bar". There are currently four flavours: Multigrain Flavor, Youjin Tofu Flavor, Vegetable Flavor and Chaoshan Marinated Flavor.


Chaoshan Marinated Flavor and Youjin Tofu Flavor are available in offline FamilyMart convenience stores (including Eastern China, Southern China, Southwest China, and North China). At the same time, all flavours have been available on the official Tmall flagship store.


STARFIELD claimed that the taste of the bar is chewier & smoother. Healthy plant ingredients such as chia seeds and kale have also been added, increasing satiety and providing balanced and diverse nutrition. STARFIELD considers the technology and production process of this protein bar a significant achievement.


Established in 2019, STARFIELD has an independent scientific research and production team. At present, the fourth generation plant meat technology has been developed, which can simulate the flavours of beef, pork, chicken and fish. In addition to the original sales model through the B2B2C model, STARFIELD has also begun to face C-end consumers directly.




Sparkling Fruit Wine Brand「BELONG」Completed Multi-Million Dollar Pre-A Financing

The sparkling fruit wine brand BELONG completed a multi-million dollar Pre-A round of financing with Cherubic Ventures as the investor. The brand will mainly use this financing round for channel expansion, supply chain upgrades and team expansion.


Established in Shanghai in 2017, BELONG has a product category mainly divided into six regular and two seasonal models. In August, it launched two regular products with ZERO colour and ZERO flavour: peach and cranberry flavoured bottled wines. The price is RMB¥28/275ml. The other four regular products have completed the research and consumer trial: expected to launch in November. All six regular flavours will launch their can versions. It is estimated that by the end of 2021, BELONG will reach 3,000 offline restaurants, 1,500 convenience stores, and 500 pubs. The online strategy focus on Tmall, JD.com, and Douyin.




Patisserie Brand「Panda Cake熊猫不走」Completed RMB¥100 Million Round B Financing

The patisserie brand "STAY! PANDA" completed a RMB¥100 million B round of financing. XVC exclusively invested the finance. The brand will mainly use this round of funding for talent recruitment, market development and system upgrades.


Founded in 2018, STAY! PANDA operates an online ordering system + online delivery; the riders will perform signature moves during the delivery. Its private domain revenue accounted for more than 60% of the sales, and its user repurchase rate exceeded 50%. Currently, STAY! PANDA has been stationed in 24 cities, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Changsha, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xiamen, Foshan, etc.


With more than 20 million private domain users nationwide, it has been rated as China Top ten patisserie brands, TOP 1 in the Meituan, TOP merchants in the Youzan for three consecutive years
